Sheila Gray Perkins is a skilled deal lawyer, representing clients in complex commercial and technology transactions. Her clients are household names—financial services industry leaders, Fortune 500 consumer products companies, and innovative cloud and SaaS technology companies. Many are highly regulated.
Through her work with these clients, Ms. Perkins has gained a reputation for driving deals to successful conclusions with experienced and detail-oriented deal management. Such deals include enterprise-level cloud agreements, vendor and customer-side “as a Service” agreements, customer technology procurement agreements, technology integration agreements, domestic and offshore business process and IT outsourcing agreements, and credit card benefit and co-marketing agreements.
Ms. Perkins’ goal is to make her clients’ lives easier, both during in the deal-making process and down the road by avoiding risk. From drafting the initial agreement (or responding to the other party’s template), through rounds of redlines and video call negotiations, to the collection and incorporation of internal stakeholder and subject matter expert feedback, and advising and strategizing with clients’ business and legal teams along the way, she facilitates the process. Ms. Perkins also works with clients to establish templates and streamlined procedures for managing reoccurring deal types.
Ms. Perkins has 18 years of experience. She began her career litigating patent disputes with a large Silicon Valley law firm in the “rocket docket” of the Eastern District of Texas when it was the first choice of forum for plaintiffs, as well as the International Trade Commission in Washington, D.C.
