Legal Notice
Culhane Haughian & Walsh PLLC, a Texas professional limited liability company, does business in most of its markets as CM Law PLLC. However, in California, the firm conducts business as CM Law LLP, a California limited liability partnership. The firm markets itself in all jurisdictions under the business trade name CM Law. The firm’s state law practice is limited to the states in which CM Law attorneys are members in good standing of the state bars, as noted on each attorney’s individual bio on this website. Whether an attorney can engage in activities on behalf of a client outside that attorney’s states of licensure is subject to state statutes, professional codes, and court rules. CM Law does not seek or solicit, through this website or otherwise, client engagements outside our attorneys’ states of licensure that may constitute the unauthorized practice of law.

Client Engagements
This website is not an offer to represent you, nor is it intended to create an attorney-client relationship. Until you establish such a relationship in writing with the firm, you have not hired a CM Law attorney nor become a client of the firm. Whether you are a new or existing client of the firm, CM Law must determine that there is no conflict of interest and that it is willing and otherwise able to accept the new engagement before representing you on a new matter. Only if and after CM Law has informed you it is willing and able to accept your new matter should you send the firm any information or documents that you consider private or confidential. Such information will not be treated as private, confidential or otherwise protected from disclosure until CM Law has communicated in writing that it is willing and able to accept your new matter and provide you with legal counsel.
Attorney Titles and Biographical Experience
Consistent with the historical legacy, custom, and tradition of the American legal profession, CM Law uses the honorific term of “Partner” to denote professional status of experienced senior attorneys. The “Partner” title has been adopted for use by many law firms to reflect seasoned attorneys with many years of professional experience, regardless of whether the firm is structured as a limited liability partnership (LLP), professional corporation (PC), professional limited liability company (PLLC), or other type of legal entity. The use of the “Partner” title at CM Law is not intended to describe a particular legal status or relationship between the attorney and the firm or between and among the firm’s attorneys.
The firm may also use the title “Of Counsel” to identify some of its attorneys who are are independent contractors engaged on a temporary basis to assist with specific client matters or in certain areas of law. They do not have access to confidential information of the firm and its clients, except for the specific matters in which they are involved. The bios of our “Of Counsel” attorneys are on our website for convenience purposes only.
The background and representative experience described on some our attorney bios may date from before an individual lawyer joined CM Law. Prior professional experience and client engagements referenced on this website do not necessarily imply recent experience in certain areas of law or reflect current client status.
