We are proud to announce that Grant A. Walsh, a co-founder of Culhane Meadows, was inducted into the 2013 Pro Bono College of Texas based on his pro bono services to low-income Texans.
Created in 1992, the Pro Bono College recognizes those attorneys who far exceed the Texas State Bar’s aspirational pro bono goals in their efforts to address the vast unmet legal needs of the poor by providing a significant number of hours (more than 75 hours in a calendar year) of eligible pro bono service during the previous year.
Mr. Walsh regularly accepts pro bono referrals from the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program and often provides pro bono counsel to veterans and servicemembers through the Texas Lawyers for Texas Veterans program. “As a JAG attorney in the Texas State Guard, I am especially interested in helping protect the legal rights of military members and their families,” says Walsh.
Mr. Walsh has qualified for annual membership in the Pro Bono College of Texas since 2008. Culhane Meadows considers pro bono service to be a key part of its culture and actively encourages partner to support civil, community, social, and religious organizations in their communities.
