Mr. Roth focuses his law practice on real estate transactions, zoning and land use, and related business transactions.

Eli has more than a decade of experience representing private and governmental entities related to the purchase, development, leasing, and disposition of property.

This representation includes the drafting and negotiation of improved and unimproved real estate purchase and sale contracts, restrictive covenants, agreements for shared detention and other facilities, easements, licenses and other development and use agreements, and advising and assisting clients through permitting, zoning, site development plans, and subdivision processes, as well as acquisition due diligence, title review and resolution, and assisting clients with closely-held entity formations and structuring.

Representative Experience:

  • Ongoing representation of real estate developer in the purchase, development, and leasing throughout the Austin, Kyle, and San Marcos areas, as tenant, landlord, and landlord-operator.  Each project consists of approximately 10,000 – 60,000 square feet of area in approximately 5-10 ongoing different projects at any given time. Eli also assists in ongoing real estate operations.
  • Leasing of over 40,000 square feet of newly constructed commercial and mixed-use space in Austin, and over 150,000 square feet in a Houston high rise.
  • Ongoing representation of developer regarding the acquisition and disposition of large mixed-use development in east Austin.
  • Ongoing representation of school district in acquisition, development, and redevelopment of a multitude of school district sites in a $1bil bond package, and a second $2.44bil bond package.
