Reiko Feaver Discusses 2025 Outlook For US AI Legislation in Sourcing Journal

What does the US legislative and regulatory outlook look like for the artificial intelligence (AI) sector?

According to CM Law Partner and Technology Practice Chair Reiko Feaver, who was interviewed for a recent Sourcing Journal article entitled “Outlook ’25: Will There Be Movement on AI Legislation in the United States,” guidelines established by previous administrations are likely to go by the wayside.

However, Reiko notes that despite the uncertainty and deregulation expected at the federal level, she expects most of the meaningful legislation to be handed down at the state level, with a number of initiatives already in the pipeline.
