** Tonight we head to Printer’s Alley, Nashville’s oldest nightlife district and a more mellow option compared to Broadway. Once home to the city’s newspapers and print shops, the alley became famous for its speakeasies during Prohibition and later for nightclubs that hosted legends like Chet Atkins, Waylon Jennings, and a regular named Elvis. First stop is likely Alley Taps (162 Printers Alley).

| 8:30 – 10:30 PM | Optional After-Dinner Social | Bell Bottoms Up (Lainey Wilson’s bar)** |
* This dinner is at Assembly Food Hall, which opened in 2021 as the largest food hall in the country. It stands on the site of Nashville’s former convention center, directly across from the historic Ryman Auditorium, the “Mother Church of Country Music,” and brings local favorites together under one roof in the heart of Music City. We have reserved an area for our group by the music stage and main bar. Choose exactly what you want from over 30 eateries and bars. Preloaded cards are handed out at the cocktail hour before we walk across the street.
** We close out Monday at Bell Bottoms Up, Lainey Wilson’s bar just off Broadway, named for her Grammy-winning album Bell Bottom Country. Lainey is one of only two women country stars with her own bar on Broadway, a fitting stop for the largest women-owned and managed law firm in the country.

* Dinner is at Chief’s, Eric Church’s six-story tribute to original music on Lower Broadway. Look for the vintage neon sign over the theater balcony: it came from the Printer’s Alley bar where Church got his start after Broadway turned him away, the same alley we visited Sunday night. Even if country music isn’t your thing, his 2026 commencement speech at UNC Chapel Hill is worth 14 minutes of your time. Using the six strings of his guitar as the “six pillars of life,” he delivered a speech that went viral and was widely praised as one of the best commencement addresses of the year. Watch it here.
** 221 Broadway. For a lively night, Kid Rock’s is one of Lower Broadway’s biggest and loudest honky-tonks, with five floors, four stages, and six bars of nonstop live music. Expect a packed, high-energy crowd and plenty of noise.
*** 218 3rd Avenue North. For something quieter, Black Rabbit is an elegant speakeasy-style cocktail bar with exposed brick, cozy booths, and a fireplace, inspired by the Prohibition-era bars of nearby Printer’s Alley. The building once housed the law office of Tommy Osborn, attorney to Jimmy Hoffa. It’s also on the way back to the hotel, a short walk from Chief’s.
